I'm Heather's aunt and I met you when you came to set up your beautiful cake at Cascade Garden on Saturday. I'm sure you've heard it all before, but just wanted to let you know that guests, from Seattle to Yakima to Portland, raved about your cake -- how beautiful it was and how great it tasted! The frosting was a wonderful surprise -- everyone expected the heavier buttercream, and thought they were in heaven when they tasted the whip cream frosting. The flowers cascading down the cake were lovely -- you are really an artist in addition to being a culinary wonder. I will never be able to recommend you highly enough, and please feel free to use this note whenever (not that you'd need it). We saw Christie's Cakes at the bridal show last year, stopped by and chatted for a minute, that's all it took, we knew she would do our cake. We had a beautiful outdoor summer wedding, and the cake was positively stunning. My then fiancé, now husband was adamant that he doesn't care for cake, funny, since he ended up eating TWO pieces at our reception... Thank you Christie for the perfect cake! - Michelle & Mark
